‘HOUSEPLANT’ THEMED PUPPY: Approx. 2 months old / Approx. 10 lbs. & growing Hi there, I’m Orchid! I was born into the Mostly Mutts program and have been growing and thriving in my wonderful foster home ever since! I’m now ready to find a family to love, have fun with and raise me up to be a great companion, perhaps you? • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I love my siblings, and like most puppies, I’m still learning my manners! I sometimes grab the legs and ears of the adult dogs in my foster home when I’m playing. Once my foster siblings correct me, I listen—though, because I’m a puppy, I forget the next day and need another reminder! I’ll do best with a patient dog who is willing to help teach me appropriate boundaries. If you have a tolerant dog at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids in my foster home, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me or that I may bump over. Also, know that I’m in the very mouthy stage of puppyhood, so I do nibble on fingers and toes, etc.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a super cute little girl with a big personality! I’ll let you know when I’m ready to be held, and I love getting attention. I’m the most vocal of my group and have plenty to say—I’m also the last one ready for a nap because I don’t want to miss out on anything! I’ll fight sleep as long as I can, sometimes ending with a couple of adorable howls before I finally curl up and pass out. I’m a fun, expressive puppy who will keep you smiling! / Energy level: Currently 4-6, of course this could change as I grow up.     • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s do some training together once I’ve had all my puppy shots. I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog—including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy—so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / You can crate train me. / I’m just a baby, so I’ll need you to potty train me in our yard. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love mealtimes, it’s one of my favorite times! I also love spending time with people, getting attention, and enjoying belly rubs. Playing tug-of-war with toys is so much fun, and I enjoy playing with my siblings too. I’m sure once I’m settled into my forever home, we’ll discover even more things we will love doing together! / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, though like all dogs I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.
