‘HOUSEPLANT’ THEMED PUPPY: Approx. 2 months old / Approx. 9 lbs. & growing Hi there, I’m Jade! I was born into the Mostly Mutts program and have been growing and thriving in my wonderful foster home ever since! I’m now ready to find a family to love, have fun with and raise me up to be a great companion, perhaps you? • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I love my siblings, and like most puppies, I’m still learning my manners! I sometimes grab the legs and ears of the adult dogs in my foster home when I’m playing. Once my foster siblings correct me, I listen—though, because I’m a puppy, I forget the next day and need another reminder! I’ll do best with a patient dog who is willing to help teach me appropriate boundaries. If you have a tolerant dog at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids in my foster home, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me or that I may bump over. Also, know that I’m in the very mouthy stage of puppyhood, so I do nibble on fingers and toes, etc.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I may be the smallest of the crew, but I have a big personality! I’m the most active little explorer who loves chasing my siblings, playing hard, and checking out anything new. I’m very curious and often the first one brave enough to investigate. After all that fun and adventure, I’m ready to be held and will likely be the one who happily falls asleep right in your arms. / Energy level: Currently 5-7, of course this could change as I grow up.         • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s do some training together once I’ve had all my puppy shots. I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog—including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy—so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / You can crate train me. / I’m just a baby, so I’ll need you to potty train me in our yard. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love mealtimes, it’s one of my favorite times! I also love spending time with people, being held, getting attention, running around, having fun and enjoying belly rubs. Playing tug-of-war with toys is so much fun, and I enjoy playing with my siblings too. I’m sure once I’m settled into my forever home, we’ll discover even more things we will love doing together! / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, though like all dogs I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.
