Fenrir, aka Fenny

Description

Fenny is a 2-1/2 yrs old, 95 lbs, Anatolian Shepherd/Akbash mix who has been traumatized and needs a calm, rural home with people who understand the needs of the breed.  With no experience as a working dog, Fenny's previous owner still thought he could assimilate and left him out in the country near a pack of working LGDs. The pack could have seriously injured or killed Fenny and it was a terrifying ordeal for him during the 3 days he was out there!  Although previously fine with other dogs, Fenny now needs a home without other dogs or with space to stay away from other dogs.  To meet this sweet, gentle giant who deserves a safe, loving home, apply to adopt Fenny at mountainpetrescue.org
