Tucker

Description

Tucker is a gentle, handsome older guy who is discovering how much better life is as an indoor cat. He was rescued after being dumped at a recycling center. He had a very tight collar on but no microchip. Tucker was skin and bones and desperately needed help. The vet thinks he is about six years old. Tucker is much healthier now although he is still on a special diet for now. One unique feature about Tucker is that he is missing part of his tongue although it does not affect his eating. He is a very curious boy who escaped recently to roam the neighborhood but after a couple days realized he was hungry and came back to eat. He is currently separated from the other house cats because although he wants to be friends with everyone, the girls are not thrilled to have another boy in the house. Tucker loves being petted and gently brushed. He also loves just chilling on a windowsill enjoying the sunshine while watching birds and squirrels. He has not been around dogs or children since he was rescued although he would probably prefer a quiet home of his own. He deserves to have his forever home where he is loved!     All of our foster kitties are raised in foster homes, are up to date on vaccines for their size, spayed/neutered, FELV/FIV tested and microchipped.
