BIG BOY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:  Big Boy        Best Guess for Breed:   Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix     Best Guess for Age:  3 years as of August 2026       Gender:   male Approximate Weight:   90lbs  Gets Along With: Other dogs and kids! We have not seen Big Boy with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any interested adopters.  Currently Living At: DC area home What My Foster Says About Me: This is Big Boy, he's a 3 year old, 90lbs, Great Pyrenees mix. He is handsome, friendly, and unfortunately looking for a new home! Like most dogs his breed, he feels cooped up in a smaller yard and would prefer his humans be home more often. We try very hard to not unnecessarily place barriers to adopt such as requiring a yard or working from home - Big Boy just happens to be an exception, needing a more specific type of home where he can spend most of his day outside, running around in a large yard, under the supervision of someone who's usually always home.Why Big Boy? He LOVES other dogs and gets along with all of them. He's quite the gentleman at the dog park. He's lived with children including a baby through toddler life. He's very patient with kids and on occasion let's them get away with hiding their toys in his fur.
