Meet Sawyer! Sawyer is an adorable 6 week old Golden Retriever/Shepherd mix weighing approximately 5 pounds who is ready to find a loving forever family. After being taken in from a person at a local tennis court, the kind individual who rescued him quickly realized they were unable to provide the long term care a growing puppy needs. Now, Sawyer is safe with us and looking forward to a bright future. Like any young puppy, Sawyer is full of curiosity and eager to learn about the world around him. He is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and commitment required to raise a puppy. His new family should be prepared for house training, crate training, socialization, basic obedience, regular veterinary care, and plenty of playtime, exercise, and love as he grows into a well mannered adult companion. With consistent guidance and positive reinforcement, Sawyer is sure to become a loyal and devoted best friend. Sawyer is available for pre adoption and will be ready to go home with his forever family on August 7, 2026. His adoption fee is $125 and includes his neuter, rabies vaccination, microchip, first puppy booster vaccination, and first deworming. Sawyer is required to return to our facility on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, for his neuter surgery and rabies vaccination. This appointment is mandatory and non negotiable.
