*** Check Out My Video Album Below! *** Meet CJ, an outgoing and affectionate Great Pyrenees who is ready to find his forever home! CJ is housebroken and leash trained. He will sit for a treat, minds really well, and knows when it's bedtime, showing he's eager to please and could easily pick up some new tricks with a little practice. A 5-foot fence suits his needs, and he can’t wait to have a yard of his own to explore! CJ has been wonderful with other dogs, both big and small, and loves to play. He has been submissive if another dog snaps at him when he gets too rowdy, and he has been around approximately 40 other dogs since arriving in rescue with no issues. He would do great with a doggie friend, but could also thrive as a solo dog with plenty of doggie playdates. CJ absolutely loves people and has been great with everyone he's met, so he is expected to do wonderfully with kids too. He doesn't dig, and his barking is average for a Pyr, mostly at squirrels and while he's playing. CJ enjoys being both inside and outside, though he especially loves the air conditioning. He rides great in the car, likes being brushed, and enjoys his toys. He's not picky about food and considers anything a treat! So far, nothing seems to bother or scare him, not even storms or fireworks, and no behavior issues have been noted. CJ is an independent thinker who is very loving, playful, and can also be quite chill. He's gentle and soaks up attention from people, whether it's petting or belly rubs. He still has a lot of young-dog energy, so the ideal home for CJ would be medium to high activity. Energetic, loving, playful, and outgoing, CJ is truly a special pup who loves people and dogs equally and would make a fantastic addition to an active family! This dog travels with an Interstate Health Certificate required by the USDA confirming that all the above criteria have been met. Housebroken: Yes  Can Be Placed With: Dogs, Older Kids. Cats Unknown.  Fencing: Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed. Fees: Adoption fees are determined on a sliding scale depending on age, location and transport. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. Fees for dogs adopted locally start at $400 and can range up to $700 for puppies under six months. Puppies placed on spay/neuter contracts receive $100 back when the dog is spayed or neutered.
