Meet Max! Max is a 2 year old GSD/Husky mix that is looking for his forever home or a dedicated long term foster who is interested in training. He's very friendly, playful and energetic. He loves going on a run or long walk. He plays a little tug and is learning fetch. He also really loves to learn and bonds closely with his people. He takes treats gently.   Max has lived outside for a while with not a lot of interaction with other dogs so he can be a bit socially awkward when meeting them. However, with the right kind of easy going, confident and playful companion, he would certainly brush up on his etiquette in no time at all. His ideal home would have a confident handler who is dog savvy in behavior to help guide his education.   He chases cats, so a home with no cats.   Max has some barrier frustration, if he is in a crate and another dog is out, he gets super excited and tends to bark. We understand from Max's perspective, this just doesn't seem fair. Continued training will help him work through this.
