Description

Meet Colby, the handsome buff and white kitty. Colby arrived to the Shelter as a surrender with a large breed dog and another cat after his previous guardian was unable to continue caring for them. Colby was indoors only in his previous home and used the litterbox reliably. He may do well in a home with other animals with a slow, thoughtful introduction. He has also been around young children and did okay. As an older feline, Colby may need more frequent vet visits to keep him in tip top shape as he ages. Colby's adoption fee is sponsored by the Silver Whisker's fund - a fund to highlight adoptable senior cats in the Shelter looking for homes.Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them
