Description
Leo is a wonderful combination of an older Rottweiler and a puppy! While he prefers hanging out near his favorite human most of all, he loves running around in the yard and making sure his place is protected. He loves to ride in the car. He has not shown any interest in the pool at his foster mom’s house so far. Leo currently lives with two other Rotties, one male and one female, and his foster mom. They all get along well unless his canine friends try to take his treats or favorite ball. Leo seems to like the companionship of other dogs but would do just as well with an owner who has lots of time to devote to him. He’s looking for people to trust but meets everyone with curiosity and a tail wag. Having experienced neglect in the past, Leo is very food driven. At 90 lbs., he’s at a good weight and some care will need to be taken that he isn’t allowed to routinely overeat. Leo is a gentleman in the house, never having accidents and not chewing on anything except his own toys, even if out of his crate unsupervised. He behaves pretty well on a leash but will need work on that. He does know basic commands and learns household routines quickly.
