Meet Benjamin Button!! Benjamin is a handsome black kitten with a heart full of love and story all his own! This playful little guy enjoys exploring, chasing, and soaking up attention just like any other kitten. Benjamin Button was born with a condition called pectus excavatum, which means his breastbone curves inward. The good news is that this is a congenital condition, it is not painful, and he is not expected to have any significant issues because of it. He has shown no signs of difficulty breathing and keeps up with normal kitten shenanigans without a problem. As Benjamin grows, he may tire a little more quickly than some kittens during especially energetic play sessions due to a slightly reduced ability for his lungs to expand, but this has not been observed during his normal daily adventures. His adopter should simply monitor him during vigorous play and follow up with their verterinarian as part of his routine care.
