Meet Arthur, a 6-year-old, 17 lb Shih Tzu with a calm, easygoing personality that’s impossible not to love. This sweet little guy is potty trained, quiet, and happiest living the relaxed life. While he’ll happily join you for a nice walk, an occasional game of fetch, or a ride in the car (he’s an excellent passenger!), Arthur is mostly content lounging nearby and soaking up the peaceful moments. He’s dog friendly but tends to keep to himself rather than seeking out playmates, making him a great companion for a calm household. Arthur gets along well with both men and women, has a low-shedding coat, and rarely barks. Although he hasn’t been tested with cats or young children, he has never shown aggression toward children and doesn’t appear to have a strong prey drive. If you’re looking for a gentle, low-maintenance best friend who will happily keep you company on errands, walks, or lazy afternoons at home, Arthur could be the perfect addition to your family. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $300.
