Meet Bear. A very special guy. Bear is a 1.5 year old Border Collie/Husky mix. We rescued him as a puppy from an "accidental litter". We were able to quickly find him a home for him, but he recently got returned. The adopter told us that Bear was just too much for her to handle. Bear walks very well on a leash. He is super intelligent and responds well to training. He loves to play and snuggle, but he needs patience because this return has really stressed him out. He is very scared here at the rescue with all the barking dogs, and kennel setting. Despite his fear we can see how special he is. After speaking to the trainer who worked with him in the past, we know that he would thrive in an ACTIVE home, with lots of space. The trainer said he was such a good boy! So much so, that she is willing to support him after adoption with several free training sessions. She wants to ensure he acclimates well to a new home!
