Description
Agnes was picked up as a stray. The vets best guess on age is about 8 years old. The shelter gave her that name but it can be changed. Her foster just calls her Pretty Girl. Agnes was a little nervous at the shelter so they asked us to take her in. She is a sweet girl but kind of reserved at first. We think she would do best in a home with adults that understand her skittish behavior. She does seem to prefer women but with the right motivation (aka food) she will learn to love men. Agnes is a little heavy at 10 lbs she should be closer 7 or even 6 lbs. A home that monitor her food and get her plenty of exercise is needed to help get that weight off. We think her previous home fed her a lot of people food. It would also help her little legs to get it off. Agnes seems housetrained and gets along with other dogs. We do not think she will be a problem with cats either. She loves to go on walks and will play a game of chase when feeling frisky. Agness is spayed and recently had a dental and is all current on her vaccinations and microchipped. To help pay for vet bills and care (transportation, food, toys, etc..) a $300 donation is requested at the time of adoption. All of our adoptions are contingent upon an approved application, home visit, reference check, obedience training agreement, and signing of adoption contract. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption. Our dogs are companion animals that live indoors as part of your family. Please do not apply if your plan is to have them as outside dogs, garage dogs, porch dogs or outside kennel dogs. We do not ship dogs.
