Whether he's zooming around the house to celebrate your arrival or flopping over for his favorite activity (belly rubs, of course!), Sprite lives life with a smile and a wagging tail. One of the cutest things about Sprite? The second you walk through the door, he acts like you've been gone for years! Expect the happiest welcome committee around, complete with zoomies, tail wags, and enough excitement to make every day feel like a celebration.  Sprite is a true social butterfly who loves making new friends—both human and canine. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a furry sibling to play and cuddle with. Even better? He's potty trained, making the transition into his forever home even easier! Sadly, Sprite's story didn't start out as happily as his personality. He came from a hoarding situation before arriving at the shelter, and had a cherry eye that had to be surgically corrected. Despite everything he's been through, he has never stopped believing people are worth loving. Now he's hoping someone will finally give him the safe, forever home he's always deserved. With his tiny legs, giant heart, and irresistible face, Sprite is impossible not to fall in love with. Approved Applicants may make the adoption fee payment by clicking donate above.  Partial adoption fees will not hold a dog. If upon meeting the dog of your choosing at your scheduled pickup time you find that you aren't a good match, your deposit will be fully refunded. Adoption fees include vaccines up until time of adoption, microchip, spay/neuter and 1st 30 days of free pet insurance.  We are not affiliated with MetLife pet insurance. (you have to sign up for the insurance or it will not go into effect).  Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets.
