King is a male dog looking for a rescue, foster, or adopter who can provide the specialized medical care he needs.King has a deep wound on the tarsal area of his left rear leg that requires ongoing wound management beyond what we are able to provide in the shelter. His recovery will likely require frequent bandage changes, advanced wound care, and therapies such as hydrotherapy to promote healing. Due to the severity of the wound, additional treatment, including possible tissue grafting, may be necessary.King would benefit from a stable environment where he can receive continued veterinary care and the follow-up treatment needed to give his wound the best opportunity to heal.Please consider sharing King's information to help him find a rescue, foster, or adopter who can provide the care he needs.King is at risk for euthanasia due to his medical needs.
