George is our longest resident, having spent 363 days with us—just two days shy of one year in the shelter. This 3-year-old came to HumaneCNY with more than 20 other cats after they were rescued from a trailer fire. George was understandably very shy when he arrived and also has kidney disease that requires a prescription diet. Since then, he’s made wonderful progress!
