Hi, my name is Lisa!  I was adopted from Catsnap as a small, shy kitten, and I had wonderful days with my mom.  She took such good care of me, and I grew to feel comfortable with her and settled in, soaking in the love once I understood what it was.  It was hard for me to process when my mom had issues with her health and could no longer keep me.  Have you ever lost someone you love?  I was confused and even a bit angry, but mostly scared.  What if no one would love me?  What would happen to me?  I wanted that connection and that bond again, and I was too scared to seek it in case my world might come crashing down again.   Well, my friends at Catsnap really love kitties, qnd they welcomed me back.  They let me have my space.  As time went on, they started offering me… yummy treats!!  Don’t let that sound shallow that treats won me over… food was a simple pleasure that I could understand, and the treats and soft voices helped me remember the comfort of home.  My human friends gradually added petting into the mix, and before I knew it, I was the one asking them to interact!  I could still be loved and safe—I was overjoyed!!     Make no mistake, I have always been a little introverted, and I would probably be scared of young children or a busy household.  But I know now that I can rebuild my life.  I know that some people love me, and I really hope that someday soon, I will have a life again like I did with my mom.  Just us, just filled with love… and, well, just filled with a few treats, too.  I want to be a loyal companion in a home again.  Would you consider applying to meet me?       Thank you for your interest in a Catsnap cat or kitten!
