Description

Canela came to Humane Colorado as a fearful little lady, but with the help of the behavior team and our amazing volunteers she has blossomed! One of her volunteer friends has been taking her on day trips and reports that she rides very well in the car and gets in and out on her own. She loves walking on trails with her human friends and our volunteer reported she was great at loose leash walking! While she showed interest in passing cyclists and people- she mostly minded her own business and didn't seem bothered by them. She even did well when another dog wasn't so polite with her! Her volunteer friend reports that she has continued to gain so much confidence and is a soft, relaxed lady. Canela is looking for a home with kiddos 10+ and would like to meet both your children and puppers before going home!
