SIR BENJAMIN BUTTON NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:   Sir Benjamin Button       Best Guess for Breed:  Shepherd and boxer mix  Best Guess for Age:  9 months as of August 2026       SEX:   Male   Approximate Weight:  27 lbs as of 7/27/26; he is still growing!   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   Rural shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!   Sir Benjamin Button is Looking For:    Hi! I'm Sir Benjamin Button, and I'm looking for a name change. Of all the names in the world, the shelter chose that for me? What's wrong with something simple - like, say, "Brad?"   Well, once my awesome new humans rename me I'm up for long sniffy walks and romps and all the adventures they can dream up. Hiking in mountains? Sniffing along the shoreline? I'm right there by their side! And then I'm right there for cuddles at the end of a fun day together. Making pup pals along the way would be awesome too, btw.   Most of all, though, I want to know where I belong, to be safe and love. In exchange I promise adoring gazes and loyal companionship for all my days. What do you say - does that sound good to you?
