Jem is a 30-lb mixed breed puppy with an estimated date of birth of 3/21/26, and he's the total package wrapped up in an adorable puppy body. Friendly, outgoing, adaptable, happy, and playful, Jem is the kind of pup who quickly wins over everyone he meets. He's making great progress with housetraining and does wonderfully in his crate. Jem already knows "sit" and enjoys playing with toys, wrestling with other dogs, chewing on a favorite bone, and riding along in the car. He's wonderful with dogs, cats, and children of all ages, making him an easy fit for many different families. While Jem loves to play, he also has a sweet, loyal side. His foster mom says he enjoys following his people from room to room, happily staying close by before curling up for a nap. He's generous with kisses and simply wants to be wherever his family is. Around the house, everyone agrees he looks like a cartoon puppy straight out of Paw Patrol, and they joke that all he needs is a tiny police officer hat to complete the look. If you're searching for a loving companion who is equal parts playful, affectionate, and devoted, Jem is ready to report for duty as your new best friend. His minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
