Description

Meet Your New Best Friend! Age: 2 Years Old Gender: Female Breed: Border Collie / Shepherd Mix (Estimated, her notes from the shelter have her listed as a Corgi, but who really knows?!) Coat: Stunning Brass & Copper Tones   About Me Looking for a loyal companion with a heart of gold and a coat to match? Meet this stunning 2-year-old beauty! With her unique, warm copper and brass highlights and gentle brown eyes, Pippen, or Pip turns heads wherever she goes. But her personality is even more beautiful than her looks. She can be a bit shy when meeting new people or exploring new environments, but don't let her timid side fool you—once she knows she's safe, she warms up quickly! Above all else, she is a true "Velcro dog" who simply wants to be near her humans, soak up affection, and offer endless loyalty. Pip is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date with all of her vaccines. Pip is a small to medium dog, weighing about 25 pounds.   Ideal Home & Compatibility Home Environment: She thrives best in a quiet, calm home where she can build confidence at her own pace without too much hustle and bustle.   Cats: Cat-friendly! She might be a little cautious during initial introductions, but once she realizes they’re friends, she gets along with them great. Kids: Due to her initial shy nature, a home with older, dog-savvy kids who respect her space while she warms up would be ideal. Other Pets: With her gentle nature, slow and proper introductions will help her thrive with furry household members. Training & Progress She is eager to please and is currently making great strides in foster care! House Training: Currently working on mastering routine potty habits. Crate Training: In progress and continuing to build positive crate routine habits.   Summary: If you have a quiet home, a spot on the couch, and plenty of love to give, this sweet, devoted girl is ready to be your shadow and lifelong companion!   Apply to meet Pip today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication
