Sophia Maria's story began on the streets of Puerto Rico, where she was found at just 5 months old—sick, starving, neglected, and struggling to survive. Thanks to a loving foster home and the care she deserved, this resilient girl has blossomed into the happy, healthy puppy she was always meant to be. Now 7–8 months old and weighing about 57 pounds, Sophia Maria is believed to be a Great Dane mix with plenty of growing left to do. She has a heart as big as her paws and a personality that radiates pure joy. Sophia Maria is gentle, affectionate, and absolutely loves people. She also adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a playful canine companion or as the center of attention in a loving family. One of her favorite things in the world is water—whether it's splashing in a kiddie pool, playing in a creek, or joining you on lakeside adventures, she's always ready for fun! Despite the difficult start to her life, Sophia Maria greets every day with a wagging tail, a happy spirit, and endless love to give. She's a wonderful combination of playful puppy energy and gentle sweetness, making her an ideal companion for an active family looking for a loyal best friend. Sophia Maria has overcome so much in her young life. Now she's ready for the one thing she's never truly had—a forever family to love her for the rest of her days. Sophia Maria will arrive in Albion, NY at the end of August and we would love to have a family waiting for her!   * Please note: All dogs are rescues so we often do not know the actual breeds but use an educated guess to tell you what they most look like.   Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico.
