She is incredibly social and absolutely loves making new friends! Whether it’s kids, adults, or other dogs, Lola thinks everyone she meets is her new best friend. She’s even willing to peacefully coexist with patient cats that tolerate curious, bouncy puppies.  ​Because she loves canine companionship so much, Lola would do best in a home with another dog of similar size and energy level to keep her company and be her partner-in-crime.   ​ The "Houdini" Factor ​Don't let that innocent puppy face fool you; Lola has earned the nickname "Houdini" for a reason! She is an incredibly clever girl who can physically climb her way out of tall puppy pens and has even figured out how to chew through zip ties to make her grand escapes. Her future family will need to keep a watchful eye on her and ensure her boundaries are truly puppy-proof! ​ House Manners & Training ​Lola’s Perfect Match:   ​Ready to add a lifetime of love, laughter, and clever companionship to your life? Lola can't wait to meet you!     ​Crate Training: Lola is doing great with her kennel training! She is a good sport about it, though she’s not shy about admitting she’d much rather be curled up right next to her favorite people.  ​Potty Training: Lola is a champ at going potty outdoors. She is also familiar with puppy pads to help catch those inevitable puppy accidents. ​Leash Walking: Let’s call this a "work in progress!" Lola doesn't quite agree with the concept of a leash just yet, so she will need a patient family willing to help her practice. ​Smart Cookie: The good news? Future training should be an absolute breeze! Lola is highly food and treat-motivated, meaning she will gladly learn the ropes if there's a tasty reward involved. She also absolutely loves puppy toys and chew sticks, which are great for keeping her busy brain occupied. ​A home with another playful, small-to-medium dog. ​A family who appreciates a clever dog and can outsmart her escape-artist tendencies. ​Humans who have plenty of time for playtime(she likes the kids' sprinklers), puppy toys, and deep cuddle sessions. Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
