Description
Barker and Bones were brought to the shelter as 2-week old nuggets, and they got to be the stars of a bottle feeding demonstration that same day before heading home with their foster. Barker was initially thought to be a boy - right up until surgery day when it was noticed “he” was in fact a girl - hey it happens to even the most experienced folks in rescue and vet med! Barker initially sounded like a little dog and “barked” her vocalizations. We LOVE seeing our babies adopted in pairs… having a familiar sibling/buddy helps ease their transition to a new home, and gives them a constant companion for life.
