Meet Finley, the sweetest boy, who just wants someone to love. Finley spent the last six weeks in a foster home, and in that short time, he made himself completely unforgettable. He is a big, handsome tabby with the gentlest personality. He follows his person from room to room just to be near them, settles happily beside you, and seems genuinely grateful for every bit of affection he receives. Finley doesn’t simply tolerate love, he actively seeks it. He wants to be included, spoken to, cuddled, and treated like part of the family. He was also incredibly hopeful about making friends with the resident senior cat. He approached her patiently, respected her warnings, and continued trying to win her over without ever becoming aggressive. Unfortunately, in her old age she is happiest as an only cat and could not return the friendship he was offering. Finley did absolutely nothing wrong. In fact, his foster family is heartbroken to let him go. He was returned only because he deserves a home where his affectionate, social nature can truly flourish, perhaps with a sweet, welcoming cat who would enjoy a companion, or with a person who wants a devoted shadow by their side. Finley is declawed and must remain indoors. He is confident, gentle, loving, playful, and remarkably easy to adore. He has the size and presence of a tiny house panther, but the heart of a complete marshmallow. He is very social with people and animals. He wants friends. He doesn’t cry at all in car rides. He wants to snuggle in the bed and make biscuits at night.  He has already experienced what it feels like to live in a home, sleep on a couch, follow someone he loves, and feel like he belongs.
