Coal and Taffy are 1 year old adventurous best friends looking for their forever home together.Coal is the quieter gentleman of the pair. He can be shy at first, but beneath his cautious nature is an incredibly sweet and gentle boy. He loves neck scratches, curling up in a cozy spot, watching birds and squirrels through the window, and snuggling with his foster family's resident dog. While he is not always the first to join the fun, he is happy to jump in once he feels comfortable.Taffy is Coal's goofy, adventurous sidekick. He can be a little shy too, but his curiosity usually wins out. He has plenty of playful energy and loves chasing Coal and the resident cats around the house. He has even discovered that swishing cat tails make excellent toys. When he is not getting into harmless mischief, he enjoys relaxing on the bed, bird watching from the window, and soaking up neck scratches.Together, these boys enjoy spending their days lounging with the resident pup, peeking out the window for squirrels and birds, chasing each other around the house, munching on cat grass, and playing with the other cats. They have done wonderfully with both the calm dogs and cats in their foster home and truly seem to thrive with animal companions.Coal and Taffy are still learning just how wonderful human affection can be. They enjoy love and attention but currently prefer it on their own terms and from a comfortable distance. With patience and time, their foster family believes these sweet boys have all the potential to become future lap cats.Their ideal forever home will be calm, patient, and full of love. Loud noises and sudden movements can still make them seek out a safe hiding place, so they would likely do best in a quieter home with gentle, respectful children. A friendly cat or calm dog would be a wonderful addition, as these boys really blossom with animal friends by their side.Coal and Taffy are as sweet as can be.
