Description
We love Oreo, and we know you will, too! Oreo (aka MooMoo) is estimated to be around 2-3 months old, and she is a lovable girl with an irresistibly sweet personality to match her adorable face. She is a charming and easy-going girl who loves making new friends. She is on the mellower side for a puppy, but loves playtime and yummy treats. She would love a semi-active family that will shower her with love. Sugar weighs about 8-10lbs and we estimate that she will be around 40-60lbs when fully grown. Oreo came to us from our local animal shelter with her two sisters, Madeline and Sugar. The girls came into the shelter as strays with their mom and six siblings. An owner came forward and reclaimed their mom after she was spayed, and the remaining puppies went to another local rescue. The Cookie Sisters have been thriving in foster together and are now looking for individual homes where they can get the one-on-one training and socialization they need to be well-rounded adults. Oreo's mom appeared to be a pit bull mix and weighed about 60lbs. We do not know who the dad is. Oreo is the gentle lovebug of the group. She is more independent than he sisters and can often be found snoozing in a cozy spot. She is a very curious girl and enjoys going on walks, being carried in a puppy pack. Once she is fully vaccinated, she will be a great companion for someone who wants a carefree walking companion. Oreo is a learning girl and needs a family committed to helping her continue to learn all of her basic manners. She would be a great candidate for group puppy training classes. Oreo loves other dogs, but she seems like she would do just fine as an only dog in her new home. She might be a great companion for an adult dog who doesn't like super playful puppies. Oreo has done very well living with dog-savvy cats. Oreo could make a wonderful addition to a family with older kids. Oreo is still working on her housetraining, so she will need a family who can be patient while she is learning and be consistent with her training. Oreo does well being left for short periods with her sisters in a pen, but has never been truly alone. She would do best with a family that can slowly acclimate her to being home alone. Oreo happily sleeps through the night in a pen with her sisters. **Due to her breed mix, Oreo may not be allowed at most rental homes or apartments. Please check your landlord/property management for breed restrictions before applying.** Oreo is such a fabulous little girl, and she is going to bring so much love to her new family.
