Description
Meet Josie! She is a female Great Pyrenees currently around 4 months old and 30lbs, we expect her to weigh 80-100 when fully grown. She has a long white coat with brown spots on her ears. She loves all people and will seek out your affection and attention. She is eager to please and very smart. She loves kids but will need some instruction on how to play gently with them, she is a big puppy after all. Josie loves other dogs and has no fear around the big ones. She just wants to play with every dog she meets and thinks they're all her best friends. She will bark to join in with the other dogs in her foster home but otherwise is quiet. She is very playful and energetic puppy. She loves squeaky toys, especially fuzzy ones, and when you play tug-of-war with her. Sometimes she will run so fast she will loose control and 'crash' into something while playing. She is a goofy girl. While we think she is mostly Great Pyrenees, she might be mixed with a retriever or pointer breed. She loves to play fetch and has exhibited the 'freeze and point' trait when she sees squirrels. Josie enjoys walks but will pull if she sees something interesting. She gets nervous during car rides but does well when someone is sitting in the back with her. She is getting better at potty training and working on it at her foster home. She sleeps will in a kennel overnight and enjoys taking her naps in one too. Josie is an incredible sweet and fun puppy, she will be a wonderful addition to your home. Josie is spayed and up to date on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300. She is currently in a foster home in DFW area Texas. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging their own transportation. Apply to meet / adopt Josie at www.spinrescue.org
