Meet Charlotte Charlotte is a beautiful 5-year-old Pit Mix who is looking for a very special person to help her discover that the world isn't such a scary place. Charlotte came to us as a stray, so unfortunately we don't have any history on her. She is extremely nervous and shy, and right now, the world feels like a very overwhelming place for her. She will need a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let Charlotte open up at her own pace and on her own terms. A quiet home with little foot traffic and no children will be best for Charlotte. She is a very timid girl who needs someone willing to give her the time, patience, and understanding she deserves. Once she feels comfortable, we believe there is a sweet dog waiting to come out of her shell. Charlotte does well on leash, although she is still nervous about the world around her. We are unsure how she feels about cats, so any introductions would need to be extremely slow and patient. We are also unsure how she is with other dogs, and a dog test will be required. Charlotte is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines. She may not be the dog who runs up to greet you right away, but maybe you could be the person who patiently waits for her to realize that she is safe.
