Description

Hi, I'm Mani, and I have quite the story to tell! Before I was even born, my mom was rescued from a massive rabbit dumpsite in Mankato, where she and more than 50 other rabbits were given a second chance at life. Shortly after arriving safely in rescue, she surprised everyone by giving birth to me and my sibling. Thanks to that rescue, I've only ever known love, kindness, and full hay racks—and I'd love to find a forever family to call my own. I'm a beautiful brown bunny with the cutest little white cotton tail. One of my signature moves is letting my big ears flop to one side whenever I'm especially happy. If you stop by my pen, chances are you'll find me standing up on my back feet, eagerly waiting for head scratches. I absolutely adore being petted and spending time with my people. I'm a curious little explorer who loves being part of whatever is going on. When I'm out for playtime, I happily zoom around investigating every corner before hopping back to check in with my favorite human. After a quick break for some pets, I'm off on my next adventure! I'm not picky about toys, but cardboard is definitely one of my favorites—there's just something so satisfying about chewing and tossing it around. I've been raised alongside two cats and two dogs, so I'm pretty comfortable around respectful furry friends. My foster family introduced us slowly and carefully, and I enjoy polite nose-to-nose greetings. Cats don't seem to bother me at all, and I'm continuing to build my confidence with supervised introductions outside my pen. When I'm out exploring, I have excellent manners. Of course, every bunny needs a bunny-proofed home, but I haven't shown any interest in chewing furniture, walls, or other household items. I'd much rather spend my time hopping, exploring, and hanging out with my people. Right now, I'm perfectly happy being a single bunny as long as I have lots of human companionship. If the right bunny friend came along someday, I think I'd enjoy having a bonded partner too. I'm a healthy girl with excellent litter box habits. I enjoy fresh greens twice a day, Oxbow Adult Rabbit Pellets at bedtime, and unlimited second-cut timothy hay. (I may be a little opinionated about my hay—I definitely have my favorites!) If you're looking for a friendly, affectionate, curious bunny who will greet you with excitement, melt into your pets, and brighten your home with her sweet personality, I just might be your perfect match. *RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience.  All applications are reviewed   on a case-by-case basis.*  If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Female (spayed) Exact birthdate: 9/2/2025 Approximate weight: 5.25 lbs Adoption fee: $100.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs).  We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.        If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website:  http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com.  For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement.  Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
