Description
Greetings! I’m Felicity. I was found wandering the streets of Minneapolis and now I’m ready to find my forever home! I like to take my time getting to know new people and places. Once I know I’m safe, I explore with my nose—I love sniffing every nook and cranny! After I get to know you, I’ll run to greet you when you come into the room. I enjoy being near my people, but I don’t always love being pet. I’ll let you admire my plush fur with a few gentle pets, then I’m happiest just hanging out by your side. My foster has been teaching me tricks! I already know "spin" and "be tall," and next we’re working on hopping through a hula hoop. I also love shredding cardboard for fun. It’s important that I have plenty of enrichment, or I might decide your carpet or walls look like a good project instead (sorry!). I’d be perfectly content as a single lady, but I also think I’d enjoy having a bunny friend. I’ve had bunny neighbors while staying with my foster, and I’m so curious about them! With proper introductions, your bunny and I could live happily ever after. What about you? Are you my future person? What about your family? I don’t know if I’ve ever met a child, but I may do well with respectful kids who understand that I like to get to know new people at my own pace. Do you have cats or dogs? I met a dog who visited my foster home once. At first I ran to hide, but once the pup settled down and let me sniff her, I wasn’t afraid anymore. There are a few more things you should know about me. First, my litter box habits are pristine! I’ve been with my foster for months and haven’t had a single accident. Second, I don’t need much grooming—a quick once-over with a rubber cat brush does the trick. And last but definitely not least, I love snacks! I enjoy Oxbow pellets and a fresh salad every day, plus Selective Naturals Loop treats and my probiotic each night. And of course I enjoy munching on my endless piles of timothy hay! If you’re looking for a gentle, curious companion who loves to keep you company, I might be your girl. *RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.* If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Female (spayed) Approximate birthdate: April 2022 Approximate weight: 5 lbs Adoption fee: $100.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
