Description
Foster or Foster‑to‑Adopt Needed — San Francisco Bay Area Puppy is a 4‑month‑old Chihuahua–Terrier mix who came to Grateful Dogs Rescue after being found in the fields of Central California with her litter. She arrived with a severe eye injury; the damaged eye was removed, and she recovered remarkably quickly, returning to normal puppy energy within 13 hours. Puppy is affectionate, social, and has enjoyed meeting every person she’s encountered. She has done well with both dogs and cats in her foster environment. She loves toys, explores confidently, and is eager to bond. She will require 7–10 days of post‑operative medication and one follow‑up veterinary appointment. She has received her first vaccine; additional vaccines are needed before she can safely visit dog parks or public dog areas. As expected for her age, she is not yet fully potty trained. Puppy is a resilient, sweet young dog who would thrive in a nurturing foster or adoptive home. Please consider opening your home to this lovely girl. Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption. The suggested donation for Puppy is $500.00 If you are interested in adopting PUPPY, please complete our online adoption application at https://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/adoption-process/ or if you are interested in fostering please fill out our foster application at https://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/foster-a-rescue-dog/ .
