Description
Check out Big Jake! Isn't he handsome? WELL, yes we know he is still a little bit of a work in progress, as this big guy spent the first years of his life on the streets literally "fighting" for life. Jake has some injuries that are healing. It is hard to imagine this gentle giant having a mean bone in his body because he is all love and begs only for love (and yes, a little for food) but it is mostly your attention he craves. He was difficult to photograph as he just kept rolling around and trying to head butt my phone so I would pet him. Once you enter the room, he will meow and meow until you give him some love so we cannot wait until he is done with his "new kitty" process and additional injury care so that he can be out and about with the rest of the crazy crew (now that he is neutered and his body has had a chance to catch up to that change). We will continue to update Jake's information and pictures as we learn more about his personality and likes (we don't assume he has too many dislikes at this point as he just seems pretty happy to be safe with us) but for now we know this big, beautiful cat has so much love to give. He will be forever grateful to any family that gives him the gifts of consistent food, vet care, and of course the LOVE that comes from an indoor home. Jake is a friendly, affectionate, and devastatingly handsome (or will be) cat. He will be available for adoption by the middle of August, but if you would like to meet this guy (and all of our current LOAR residents) please complete an online application for pre-approval. Complete our online adoption application a www.littleorphans.org to start the process of adding this or any of our kitties to your home. The more complete your application is, determines how quickly we are able to process your application. Please try to give your vets office (give prior authorization to release information to us), landlord, and references a heads up to expect our call. Adoption fees include spay/neuter, up-to-date age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, flea preventative, and a microchip.
