Description
Meet Rockie Rockie is ready to rock ‘n’ roll his way right into your heart—and hopefully into his forever home! This adorable black and tan pup possibly Chiweenie (Dachshund/Chihuahua mix or maybe Min Pin mix) is estimated to be 1-2 years old and weighs 8-9 pounds. Rockie was turned into our local shelter with an easily treated skin condition. The person who brought him in said she found him but the staff was not convinced. Thanks to love and vet care, his skin is healing beautifully, and he’s becoming quite the handsome little guy! Rockie is now neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. (He has Next Guard for his skin condition) This sweet little guy is crate trained and is doing an amazing job with his house training. (He is not 100% housebroken so please know you will have to work on this if adopting) He loves going outside, especially when he can use the doggie door, soak up the sunshine, and enjoy a good chew bone. He gets along well with the other small dogs in the home. He has not met any cats while with us and we do not know how he is with large dogs. He is very friendly though. When it’s time for fun, Rockie enjoys going for walks. When it’s time to relax, he’s perfectly happy snuggling on the couch, showering his favorite people with sweet kisses and lots of love. If you’re looking for a loyal little companion with a big personality, Rockie is ready to rock his way into your life. Home visit, approved application, and adoption donation of $325 required. *If you were recently approved for our last dachshund Eris, please message us if interested in adopting little Rockie. Rockie is located in Myrtle Beach, SC. We will accept applications until we feel like we have the perfect home for Rockie. Rockie comes with all vet records, microchip registration, leash, collar, small bag of food to mix, and any personal items.
