Meet Marie  Marie is about 5 years old, full of opinions, and blessed with one brilliant blue eye and one soft green eye that somehow fit her perfectly. Marie likely spent a long time fending for herself, so she doesn’t hand out her trust immediately. She prefers to get to know you first. Give her time, respect her boundaries, and pay attention to her cues, and you’ll get to see the affectionate, wonderfully quirky girl underneath. Once Marie decides you’re her person, that trust feels pretty special. She’s also quite the conversationalist and has no problem telling you exactly what she thinks. We’re fairly certain she prefers having the last word. Marie is not a fan of dogs . She has lived with other cats, but introductions would need to be slow and thoughtful. We’d love to find a home open to a trial adoption so Marie can settle in at her own pace. Some cats love you immediately. Marie asks you to get to know her first. And she’s absolutely worth it.
