Hi! My name is Vicky, and I’m on the hunt for my forever family!My siblings and I were surrendered to a small rescue that gave us a second chance and enrolled us in the New Leash on Life prison dog program. Thanks to my inmate trainers, I’ve been learning all kinds of important things like sit, stay, leash walking, and even working on my house manners!I’m about 6 months old, weigh around 25 pounds, and appear to be a Hound mix and maybe dachshund (or as we like to call ourselves… a low-rider!). I’m the smallest of my siblings, but don’t let my short legs fool you—I have lots of puppy energy!I’m a happy, goofy girl who loves to play, explore, and keep life interesting. Like many puppies, I can be a little mouthy when I get excited, so I’ll need a family that’s committed to continuing my training and helping me learn appropriate puppy manners. Because of my enthusiastic play style, I’d do best in a home with older children who can handle my bouncy personality.As a hound mix, I’d love a securely fenced yard where I can safely sniff, explore, and burn off some of my energy. I’ll also thrive with an active family who will take me on walks, play with me, and continue building on everything I’ve already learned.
