Description
DOB: 5/1/26 Meet Summer and Morty! Named after our favorite intergalactic, space-traveling siblings, Summer and Morty may not be from the same litter, but they're bonded as can be! They both came to us as single kittens. Summer had already spent more time around people and other cats, while Morty had a much harder start to life. During his first few weeks, he experienced neglect and is still learning that people can be kind and safe. Because of this, Morty will thrive with a calm, patient family that can help him continue building his confidence. Hi, I’m Morty. I love my sister Summer more than anything! The way to my heart is wet food, and Churu’s. I still get scared when my foster parents try to pick me up, but if there a lick treat involved, I’m in! I enjoy snuggling with my humans on my own terms, especially when Summer is curled up beside me. With a little patience and lots of love, my confidence grows more every day. BONDED WITH SUMMER **This cat is currently in a foster home and arrangements can be made for a meeting once you have applied with us. All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.** ________________________________ Kitten Adoption Policy: Kittens cannot be adopted as a solo pet, they must either go home with another kitten or join a home that already has a young, playful cat. If there are no other pets in the household, adoption of two littermates is required. Kittens thrive with a feline companion to help them learn, play, and develop healthy social skills.
