Pinky

Description

Pinky is estimated at 1 year old.  She is only 10-11 pounds.  Pinky really is a sweetheart.  She has quickly picked up the flow of things from the dogs in her foster home. For this reason, we feel she would do best in a home with another dog.  She learned to use the doggy door and potty outside in 2-3 days time.  Pinky is good with other dogs,  She hasn't been tested with cats, so we don't know about them.  She sleeps all night with the other dogs in the foster home. She loves squeakers and being in your lap. Pinky is a true velcro dog and follows her foster Mom everywhere!   She will snuggle with everyone.  She favors her foster Mom but cuddles with her foster Dad and rolls over for belly scratches.  She's playful, but naps with the other dogs in the home when they nap. She likes having playmates as she has taken to one of the female dachshunds in her foster home and does zoomies with her.  Crate training is in progress, she prefers not to be left in a crate by herslef.  Her perfect home would be one that had another fun loving dog in the home and preferably someone home more often than not. Pinky can be overwhelmed in new situations and will need someone to give her some time to settle into her new home before introducing new people or going places.  She is a spunky 1 year old and will need someone to work with her and how she reacts in these situations.  Probably an experienced dachshund owner would be best!
