Description
Animal Profile: Page is an estimated 2-year-old, 46 lb male Staffordshire Terrier/Lab mix who joined us from Texas. His Texas foster reports that he is energetic, super loving, curious and good with other dogs. Page can get overstimulated and become a little jumpy, so he'll benefit from continued training. We will post more as we get to know him in foster care. Seattle Foster Update: This handsome boy will be great with a canine companion who matches his high-energy level, or in a home as the only dog. He is very responsive to training and quickly learned impulse control around our farm animals, but he still needs supervision with dogs and other animals. He's good in his crate and does well on leash. He does have some leash reactivity, but if you can catch him before he gets aroused he has pretty much no reaction. Slow introductions with other dogs are a must, but once he knows the other dog he just wants to play. Page needs a dog-savvy adopter who can provide leadership and training to help him achieve his best-ever dog self, and he'll do best with an active family. This guy is ready to go, go, go with you! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $500, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.
