Izzy is with our partner rescue in LA and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter Meet Izzy — a tiny scruffy sidekick with a big heart  Izzy is a 3-year-old, 12-pound bundle of sweetness (we’re guessing poodle/dachshund mix, but 100% adorable is confirmed). She may not have had the best start in life, but you’d never know it now—this little girl is all about love, comfort, and moving forward. Izzy is the definition of an easy companion. She’s quiet, friendly, and happiest right by your side (or better yet, tucked under the covers—yes, she’s a certified bed snuggler). She loves attention and soaks up affection like she’s making up for lost time. She gets along beautifully with both big and small dogs, has been perfectly polite around outdoor cats, and isn’t fazed by much of anything. Izzy walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, and settles in like she’s been part of your life forever. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving, low-key best friend who will happily share your bed and your heart, Izzy might just be your girl. Apply to adopt Izzy and give this sweet soul the forever home she deserves. Izzy is up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm.  She has been spayed and has a microchip. Her adoption fee is $500.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
