Description
*Name: Nova*Age: 4 years old *Current Weight: 60lbs *Rescued from: Georgia, Fostered in NY*Adoption fee: $400Meet Nova Some dogs make an impression right away, and Nova is absolutely one of them. She has that wonderful, easygoing presence that just makes life feel a little better. Social, affectionate, and happy to be part of whatever you’re doing, Nova is the kind of dog who fits in beautifully without needing to be the center of attention. She enjoys the simple things—tagging along for a car ride, exploring the yard one sniff at a time, stretching out in a sunny spot, keeping an eye on the world around her, and of course claiming a cozy place on the couch when the day winds down. And every now and then, just when you least expect it, her playful side pops out in the form of a happy little zoomie that reminds you she’s still got plenty of fun in her.Nova has settled beautifully into foster life and has proven herself to be the kind of dog who makes the transition into home life feel much less intimidating. She’s house trained, crate trained, dog-friendly, and genuinely enjoys both human and canine company. While she’d likely be happy to have a dog buddy to spend time with, what Nova truly wants is a family to call her own—people to love, routines to settle into, and a home where she gets to simply belong.Nova made the trip north after being rescued from an overcrowded rural Georgia shelter, where far too many wonderful dogs are overlooked simply because there isn’t enough space. We’re incredibly grateful she got her chance, because this girl has so much to offer. She’s beautiful, yes—but what really stands out about Nova is just how easy she is to imagine as part of your life. The passenger seat companion. The sunshine lounger. The couch snuggler. The quiet little shadow who just wants to be included.Nova is ready for her forever. To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs
