Hi there! We’re Herman and Lily, two 8-year-old bonded siblings looking for a home where we can stay together forever. We’ve been by each other’s side through everything, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m Lily, the brave one! I’m curious about absolutely everything—new sights, new smells, new sounds… I have to investigate it all. I can turn just about anything into a toy, and I always find ways to entertain myself. Balls, catnip toys, lasers—you name it, I’m ready to play! I’m also a bit of a foodie. If you’re eating something, don’t be surprised if I come over to sniff it. If you offer me a taste, I’ll probably happily accept! I like to graze throughout the day instead of eating all at once. I’m Herman, and I’m a little more cautious when meeting new people. Loud noises, lots of excitement, or unfamiliar visitors—especially men—can make me hide at first. But once things quiet down and I know I’m safe, I’ll come out to say hello. Women tend to win me over a little faster. Once I’m comfortable, you’ll discover I’m playful, silly, and absolutely love chasing bugs, spring toys, bird toys, and anything I can pounce on. I also love being brushed—it might just be my favorite kind of pampering! We both enjoy playing together and make a great team. We love laser pointers and are expert little mousers. Sometimes we chase each other around the house, and yes… Lily usually starts it! Herman’s bursts of energy keep things exciting, and I’m always happy to join in. When it’s time to relax, we’re happiest curled up together or snuggled near our favorite person. During the winter, you can often find us sleeping right beside you in bed. We’re both great with other cats and have done well with children. We previously lived with a child who was autistic and deaf, and we handled it very well. Herman might hide if things get especially loud, while Lily is usually too busy being curious to worry much. We’ve also lived with a dog before. Herman even enjoyed playing with the dog, while Lily was more of a polite roommate than a best friend. We each have our own little quirks. Herman eats like every meal is a race, while I prefer to take my time. I love neck scratches and scratching posts, but don’t ask me about being brushed—that’s Herman’s thing, not mine! If you’re looking for two loving companions with complementary personalities, endless entertainment, and a bond that’s impossible to miss, we just might be the perfect pair.
