Ember's story started with heartbreak. She was found alone at a campground covered in sores and carrying 31 ticks, but despite everything she had been through, she has remained incredibly sweet and loving.Ember is a low to medium energy girl with the perfect balance of playtime and cuddle time. She loves snuggling with her people, playing with other dogs, tossing around her favorite stuffies, chewing on bones, and happily entertaining herself when playmates are busy.She's a smart pup who is doing great with potty training and crate training. She uses the doggy door like a pro, is highly treat motivated, and already knows "sit." She's learning that her crate is a safe, cozy place to relax and is making great progress every day.Ember has left her difficult past behind and is ready for a family that will shower her with the love she's always deserved. If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who enjoys both playtime and relaxing by your side, Ember is ready to meet you!Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications. We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine. The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you.
