Description
Animal Information: Chet is a 1-year-old Terrier mix weighing 15 pounds. He's a friendly, happy little guy who loves everyone he meets, both people and dogs. He was brought into the Stanislaus Shelter as a stray, and at risk for euthanasia due to space. The staff shared about his great personality so we knew we had to help. Chet especially loves the big dogs and is always excited to make new canine friends. After he's had some time to play, his favorite place is curled up in a lap for a good snuggle. Foster Profile: meet Chet! He is very affectionate and has good confidence. He gets better every day on the leash and checking in for direction. He is very energetic, he needs an outlet for his energy before he curls up in your lap for some love and is content for hours. With consistent excercise he could be good in an apartment but when bored he is a barker. He needs to be placed in his crate and after about 10 minutes he settles in and is quiet. HE LOVES HIS BALL! He carries it on walks and can't wait to chase after it. He is great with the resident dog. He has a moderate prey drive and a great sense of direction. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166).
