Buddy Guy is an adorable Chihuahua Dachshund mix with a big personality... and when he first came to Furry Kids, he also had a very big waistline! Buddy joined our rescue after another rescue reached out because they were full. When he arrived, it was clear this little guy had been enjoying far too many snacks and not nearly enough exercise. His amazing foster family has been helping him trade extra pounds for extra zoomies, and he's making great progress! He loves going for walks and absolutely loves belly rubs.  Buddy is discovering that walks are fun, healthy treats can still be delicious, and life is even better when you can actually see your toes again! He's proving that it's never too late to start a healthier lifestyle. Now Buddy Guy is looking for a forever family that will continue cheering him on as he reaches his goal weight. He deserves a home where he'll get plenty of love, regular exercise, and just the right amount of treats (he'll probably try to convince you otherwise!).
