Stephen is ready to find his forever home!   He is estimated to be around 11 months old and is a total sweetheart. He is fully vetted and ready to join a new family - he's just waiting for his perfect match to come along!   Before coming into rescue, Stephen lived outdoors with a painful eyelid condition called entropion. Thankfully, it was easily corrected with surgery, and he has made a full recovery. He won't require any special care related to it moving forward.   Stephen has never met a stranger. He is incredibly outgoing, confident, and affectionate, becoming best friends with everyone he meets. He purrs constantly, loves to make biscuits, and is always seeking out human companionship. He'll happily climb into your lap for extra pets and doesn't mind being picked up and held for a few moments before he's ready to get back to exploring.   At almost a year old, Stephen has the perfect balance of playful kitten energy and young adult maturity. He loves all kinds of toys, especially spring toys, and can happily entertain himself for hours. He also never says no to treats!   Stephen's easygoing temperament would make him a wonderful fit for almost any loving home, including families with respectful children. He would do well with another young, playful cat and although he hasn't been around dogs, we believe he would likely do well with a cat-friendly dog after a proper introduction. He could also thrive as an only cat if his family is home often and can provide plenty of playtime, enrichment, and affection.   If you're looking for a cat who will greet you at the door, keep you laughing with his playful antics, and never tire of being around his people, Stephen is your guy!
