Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come- first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the dogs that fall under our care. Please be patient our rescue consists of all volunteers. Please don't be upset at us if you're not able to adopt. We do our best. We are now accepting applications for this sweet handsome playful sweet dog named Louie. We rescued this awesome dog after a plea from a citizen to take him that was bringing him to a shelter.  Louie was scared and needed our help. Louie is very sweet and shy at first and will need time to decompress. Our foster said Louie is housetrained but may have an accident the first day. Louie is great with all of our fosters dogs and cats in the household. He loves to cuddle, go for walks and run around our fosters yard! Louie is very affectionate and is a cuddle bug. Louie is an active 16 lb male 4 year old Dachshund mix who is neutered up to date on all shots, microchipped and heartworm negative. Louie does have a little separation anxiety, when you leave he does bark and cry a little, so we prefer a house, sorry no condos or apartments. Another little dog would be great too for Louie . Please only apply if you are willing to be patient and let him decompress. Louie is a wonderful sweet dog and we want the best home for him.
