I’M ALL PUPPY: Approx. 2 months old / Approx. 12 lbs. & growing Hi, I’m Truett! I came to Mostly Mutts after finding myself at animal control. I’m not quite sure how I ended up there, but I’m so grateful to be safe and well cared for. I’m a sweet, hopeful pup with my whole future ahead of me, and I can’t wait to "rescue" my new family with lots of puppy love, happy adventures, and tail wags. I hope we meet very soon!      • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a nice doggie that would like a very playful puppy friend, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet, so let’s meet! I’m in the very mouthy stage of puppyhood and love to explore the world with my mouth, so little fingers, toes, wrists, shoelaces and clothing seem like fun toys to me. Because of this normal puppy behavior, I may be a bit too much for young children until I mature and continue learning appropriate play manners.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m an adorable puppy with the perfect mix of playful puppy energy and a sweet, gentle, side. I’m friendly, lovable, and as sweet as can be! Like most puppies, I’m in the mouthy stage of life, so I’ll happily grab at shoelaces, shoes, or clothing if I don’t have an appropriate toy nearby—but I redirect easily and do best when I have plenty of puppy toys to keep me busy. I did great for my bath and absolutely loved being dried off with a cozy towel (ear cleaning wasn't my favorite, though!). I’m a beautiful little pup who’s ready to learn, grow, and bring lots of fun and love to my forever family. / Energy level: currently 4-6, of course this could change as I grow up.      • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already learned the ‘sit’ and ‘come’ commands. Let's continue my training with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs! I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog—including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy—so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I’m just a baby, so I’ll need my new family to potty train me in our yard.   • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love people, playing, and all the fun that comes with being a puppy! Rope toys and Nylabones are some of my favorites, and I’m always ready for a play session or to explore something new with my family.    / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, though like all dogs I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.
