Birthday: May 1, 2020 Sylvester has spent enough time surviving—now he's ready to spend the rest of his life simply being loved. This handsome FIV-positive gentleman came from a difficult life on the streets of Harrisburg, where every day was about survival. Those days are thankfully behind him, and he's discovered that being a pampered house cat is a life he absolutely loves. Sylvester is a gentle, affectionate boy who enjoys being petted and appreciates all the comforts of indoor living. He may be a little shy when meeting new people, but it doesn't take much to win him over—especially if you come bearing Churu treats! Once he realizes he's safe, his sweet personality begins to shine. A true foodie at heart, Sylvester never turns down a good meal. Because of his love of food, he'll do best with a managed diet to help him maintain a healthy weight and keep him feeling his best. Sylvester also gets along well with other cats, making him a wonderful companion in a multi-cat home. That said, he's equally happy soaking up all the attention as your one and only feline friend. Whether he's sharing his home with another cat or enjoying life as a solo companion, what matters most to Sylvester is having a family to call his own. Being FIV-positive doesn't stop Sylvester from living a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life. With regular veterinary care and the love of a forever family, he has so much affection left to give. After everything he's been through, Sylvester is ready to trade the uncertainty of street life for a warm bed, full belly, and someone to love him forever. Could that someone be you?
